About

A TRULY LOCAL ARTIST

Leilani Pacheco-Datta was born and raised in Kona-Hawaii and truly is a local artist. She started 15 years ago training in Italy, with stained glass masters.

Her love of every medium in glass, has blessed her with the opportunity to train with the top masters around the World.  Enzo Aiello; Rome Vatican Mosaic Artist, Peter McGrain; Glass Painting, Dennis Brady; Etching/Mixed Media, and Bonnie Bruggar; Fused Glass, in British Columbia. (and many others).

She continues to train with masters, as she feels you need to incorporate the newest products, and techniques into your work, and take a little something from each master to create your own voice in your art.

As an artist, sharing her gift by teaching other students, has also been a highlight of her career. Leilani has taught many students in Stained Glass (Copperfoil & Lead method), Fused Glass, Mosaics (Roman & Traditional), Etched & Carved Glass, Mixed Media, as well as, Jewelry and Soldering Techniques.

She was also honored to be the only Hawaii Stained Glass Artist accepted into the prestigious IGGA (International Guild of Glass Artists), and has been juried into the top art shows in the Hawaiian Islands.

THE STUDIO

Leilani’s studio in located 10 minutes from Kailua-Kona town, in beautiful Kona Hills Estates.  The home/studio was also the former vacation home for actor Tom Selleck, which has beautiful views of the Kona Coastline to relax after class.

Her home was recently the cover story of Hawaii’s “At Home Magazine.”
