Beginning Stained Glass

Type of Class: Demonstration and hands-on project

Class Description: In this 2.5-3 hour class, students will be taught basic stained glass construction, including cutting, foiling and soldering. Create a stunning heart shaped (Or other designs), or bevels. Great for beginners! Includes an array of refreshments. Clients can also bring a libation of choice, wine, and/or appetizers to make it a fun time while creating their project. After class photos can be taken on the lanai of our home, which was the former vacation home for actor Tom Selleck, in beautiful Kona Hills Estates, a gated community.

Safety: Please do not work with solder or lead if you are expecting. Closed toe shoes are preferred when cutting glass. Safety glasses should be worn, will be provided if needed.

Tools & Materials Included: All supplies for the project. Use of our grinders

Additional Tools & Materials: Pen/ paper for notes – optional

Cost: Inclusive $75 plus materials fee of $55. Total per person $130 + 4% HI Sales Tax = $135.20

The remaining balance can be paid in full in advance, or at the studio. If cash is paid, we will waive the 4% tax.

Cancellation Policy: Due to limited size of the class and demand (we are the only glass studio teaching workshops on the Big Island), here is the cancellation policy. More than two weeks before class – A non-refundable $25 handling fee for supplies ordered, as well as, the opportunity to have booked that day for other students will apply.
