Are you looking for a new activity to do with your child or grandchild? Need bonding time with your kids? The weather dampen things to do? Hokulani Glass provides a one of a kind experience, which gives kids the chance to design and create their own custom glass projects! Each month with will provide a workshop that features a different project using glass as the medium.
Since we are an exclusive studio working with the top 5-star resorts & hotels, we are limited in space. Sign up is required, and a deposit of $25 to ensure space, and for ordering supplies, etc.
Class Description: 2 projects will be created (2) 4 X 4 pieces. Original Design or Coaster in this 2 hour class
Cost: $100 (includes all materials, inclusions, supplies, firing, array of refreshments, cleaning of projects out of the kiln, delivery. (or can be mailed) cost extra
Experience: none needed
Details: It will be a day to make new friends, and to take home a beautiful piece of art! Your instructor Leilani Pacheco-Datta (Owner), is a fourth generation Kona gal, that has over 16 years of experience. She has trained in Italy with masters in Stained Glass, masters of the Vatican in Roman Mosaic, and has trained with other various masters in all techniques in glass. She has won numerous awards, and her work can be seen in Galleries across the state of Hawaii. Teaching is her passion, and during the summer, she also hosts workshops, free of charge for at risk teens & foster children. Our studio is located 10 minutes from Kailua-Kona, town at Kona Hills Estates in the former vacation home of actor Tom Selleck, which makes for a beautiful backdrop.

The remaining balance can be paid in full in advance, or at the studio. If cash is paid, we will waive the 4% tax.
Cancellation Policy: Due to limited size of the class and demand (we are the only glass studio teaching workshops on the Big Island), here is the cancellation policy. More than two weeks before class – A non-refundable $25 handling fee for supplies ordered, as well as, the opportunity to have booked that day for other students will apply.
